Youth Coaches
Part –Time Youth Coach and Part-Time Assistant Youth Coach

These positions are responsible for facilitating our weekly evening youth group. Engaging young people between the ages of 13-21 years who have emotional, behavioral, developmental disabilities or mental health needs to develop advocacy and leadership skills.
Responsibilities include:

  • Advocacy – help youth develop advocacy skills to advocate for themselves and others.
  • Youth Groups – help youth develop and strengthen their social skills in groups.
  • Public relations – Assist youth in writing a quarterly newsletter.
  • Training – facilitate access for youth to receive training on issues facing young people involved in mental health systems as well as creating opportunities for youth to educate community groups to better understand these issues.
